I'm still alive!

I finished the whole30 challenge and actually loved every minute of it!! hahah jk:) I did love it, but not every minute.  I learned so much about myself, who I am, and what I'm capable of!!! I lost about 15 lbs in the 30 days and am now working hard to figure out my life as I am allowed to reintroduce certain foods.  It taught me a lot and jump started my new life! I recommend every one try it!!

After my second baby I did insanity. I lost a lot of weight and then gained it all back- here goes round 2, starting tonight!! Wish me luck!

Whole30 challenge

Ok so Im starting a new personal challenge to try and get my food in control.  I am a horrible horrible snacker and it is rarely on good stuff!! About  4 months ago I cut all drinks out but water and have stuck to it 99%.  Every now and then when we arent at home I will take a sip of the girls soda if I dont have any water and Im dying, but other then that I am doing amazing.  It is crazy how I used to want soda a and juice all the time and now it makes me sick to think of drinking it.  I am really hoping my new challenge will help with the sweets part! So I found this thing on pinterest that is basically clean eating but its called the Whole30 challenge.  Here is the low down..... YES foods: meat, eggs, veggies, some fruit, and nuts. NO foods: sugar, grains, legumes, PB, and dairy.  It sounds dang hard to me but I am going to give it a good 100% shot!! Wish me luck, I hope it works! Its only 30 days right?!

Today I did the arc trainer at the gym.  I was pretty happy with 565 calories burned in 30 minutes!!

After a long 2 days with my oldest daughter, Jamie was exhausted and took a break with a short workout.  20 minutes is still better then nothing, good work Jamie!!

Another round of Zumba for Jamie on Day 3.  She has even got our littlest sister to join in on the fun.  Maybe we will get a pic of her in action one of these days :)

For my 3rd workout I took this little cutie for a bike ride! Her sister was staying at grandmas house and I took the opportunity to spend some one on one time with her, she loved it and so did I.  She said "wheeeee" over every bump, and when we got home she exclaimed "this is fun".  I hope the weather cools down a bit soon so we can go on more bike rides!

Day 2 Jamie



Jamie did a Zumba DVD today for her workout- isn't she cute? :) She says real classes are more fun because there's people around you urging you on! It more like a party when you do it in class, but in a bind the dvd is better then nothing!

Day 2 Lacie

Today I did body rock again.  It was probably one of the hardest body rock workouts I have ever done. It was the I'm all yours workout.  I was sweating so much and was breathing really hard.  I have no problem doing the workouts, it is my eating that needs some help.  Maybe that will be part of the next challenge.  :)

Day1 Lacie



Tonight I did bodyrock.tv workout"i can only imagine".  If you've never checked out bodyrock.tv before, you are missing out!! They call themselves the home workout movement and I love them.  They have a new workout every day and they have weights, yoga, intervals, etc so you never get bored.  Not to mention the workouts only last 12 minutes usually, so anyone can fit that into their schedule!! And the last bit of excitement- they are 100% FREE!!!! You can find all their videos on their website, or on youtube!! They even have a phone app!! I am always out of breath and happy when I finish!!!

Today Jamie went to Zumba.  She said the workout was super fun and upbeat today.  Everyone was really into it and excited!!!
